About Me
I Started in IT in the mid to late 80’s having been an electronics design engineer these were the days of DOS and windows was just beginning its first incarnations, i did a little machine code programming on the older 6502 and Z80 microprocessors which were common in control systems. In 1994 i went self employed in the IT industry, following a short spell in Dover i took a contract to work with major high street banks and high profile customers across the uk, during this time i trained with HP/Compaq and became Laptop, Desktop and Server certified, i completed many installations and rollouts of servers and new desktops. In 1998 i took another contract role at Pfizer for 4 years becoming familiar with a whole range of bespoke systems and how they interact with off the shelf products.
I’ve spent some time with cnc systems also autocad and solidworks, all the time looking after the daily admin of a number of customers IT systems.
My business has now grown to a number of customers in East Kent, including subcontracting kent based jobs from nationwide providers. I look after their daily admin, call in or connect remotely to resolve issues, schedule in new installs or maintenance in or out of hours depending on the business need.
I’ve recently completed the IT, building management system, Audio Visual, CCTV and Voip installation and commissioning in a new training centre.
